San Bernardino residents are in for a treat as a brand-new weekly farmers market will be held at Court Street Square starting today Tuesday, October 17.
The market will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 349 N. E St. Shoppers can expect a diverse array of offerings from over 20 vendors, including locally sourced fresh produce and enticing hot prepared meals. This exciting addition to the community was brought spearheaded by Lydie Gutfeld, San Bernardino’s parks director.
The farmers market aims to provide a hub for downtown residents to gather, whether it’s for a quick lunch or a leisurely produce shopping experience. Gutfeld believes that this market will contribute positively to the downtown area by boosting foot traffic and infusing the local economy with much-needed revenue.
