Customers had the opportunity to buy fresh produce at the Southeast Raleigh YMCA on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh.
The produce is sourced directly from local farms and goes straight to the customers.
The next upcoming market is scheduled for Sunday, August 20, in Durham.
The Black Farmers Market operates from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday in either Raleigh or Durham.
